ABOUT

Health, including psychological well-being, requires regular care.
MY Psychology was founded on the belief that well-being requires a comprehensive approach and that mental health is a vital piece to creating an abundant life. It is the view of the practice that each person deserves to feel seen and be provided with thoughtful and effective interventions. For this reason, MY Psychology operates on three main values - integrity, connection, and partnership.

Integrity
Psychology is a scientific field, which means concepts and therapeutic interventions have been systematically studied. This being true, there are recommended interventions for different presenting concerns. MY Psychology strives to provide evidence-based interventions to be consistent with the value of intergrity. This value also incorporates personal ethics and moral conviction, meaning the clinician is mindful of striving for good character.

Connection
MY Psychology believes a key part of effective therapy is genuine human connection. For a person to embrace the vulnerable process of therapy, they have to feel safe and positively regarded. MY Psychology strives to create an environment of understanding, sincerity, and peace.

Partnership
Lasting, effective change is rarely one-sided. A comprehensive approach takes into account the experience and wisdom of all parties. For this reason, MY Psychology values a team approach to mental health. This means therapy is tailored to the individual or the family. You are part of the team. You are part of the therapeutic process.

MY Psychology aims to create hope and healing on an individual and societal level. Below are some projects that are part of the founder's effort to engage in psychology-based projects outside of individual therapy.
